There is so much to learn from your pole instructors, and today I want to share my best tip for those of you who want to learn more, faster, and find your own style.
✨ Learn from different teachers ✨
It’s common, and especially for beginners, to stick with their first instructor because it feels safe and familiar. And that makes sense.
But when you start exploring beyond that, you open yourself up to so much more.
Every teacher is unique - and everyone has something to teach you.
You won’t vibe with everyone, and you won’t love every style… but that’s not a bad thing.
You’ll still walk away with:
💡 New techniques & approaches
💡 Teaching styles that might suddenly click
💡 Inspiration you didn’t know you needed
💡 A richer, more well-rounded pole journey
That said – this doesn’t mean “go wild” with as many instructors as possible, especially for beginners.
Too many different instructors can mean too many different techniques for the same exercises, which can create confusion.
Instead, use some time to explore, notice what resonates, and then choose.
When you’ve tried a few teachers, you’ll naturally find the ones that align with you in energy, personality, and the way they teach and train – and that’s when you can go deeper, practice more, and start shaping their influence into your own style.
So, book that class with someone different.
Follow an online instructor you’ve never trained with before.
You never know which small tip might completely change the way you move.🔥
