About Aerial Movements

Aerial Movements is a Norwegian based company who provides high quality instructor education world over. In sports like pole, understanding anatomy and physiology, and how the body functions during training, is crucial for safe and effective learning. Our vision is to create a safer environment, minimize injury rates, and enhance the expertise of skilled instructors who know their profession.

We are confident that our enriching certification program will elevate industry standards. Our rigorous requirements for certification will enhance the value of being an approved instructor and earn the trust of students and studios. We aim to inspire and contribute to a more respected and professional sport.

Additionally, our company provides online training for everyone desired to develop their dance and fitness skills. We are growing a supporting community, promoting sertificated instructors, and sharing our passion and knowledge among professionals.

Diana Nodland, content creator & teacher trainer

Diana is the founder of Aerial Movements, and based in the heart of Norway's capital. Her passion for this industry goes back to 2015 where she was first introduced to pole. Since then, shes gained extensive experience from 8 years of running her own pole & aerial studio, poleshop, 6 years as a competitor, organized competitions and served 3 years as the president of the Norwegian Pole & Aerial Federation. Diana holds several certifications as a pole fitness and flexibility instructor, and have been teaching on weekly basis since 2017.

This diverse background, especially the role as a studio owner, has given a profound understanding of the importance of safe, knowledgeable instruction. Diana is deeply committed to inspire, guide, and support each student in becoming the best version of themselves, both as a pole dancer and an instructor.

Ellinor Nyström, content creator

Ellinor has a bachelor degree in Physiotherapy with further education in dance- movement psychotherapy and women's health physiotherapy. She is also a certified yoga instructor and has been teaching yoga for the past 5 years in the healthcare sector, in yoga studios and in large companies is Norway.  

Her educations has given her an in-depth knowledge about the connection between body and mind, particularly in the fields of mental health, trauma understanding and personal development. Her expertise in Motivational interviewing equips her with techniques to facilitate meaningful conversations that inspire change, while her training in compassion focused therapy enables her to help individuals to develop self-compassion and emotional resilience. 

Amanda Lovise Hogefeld, instructor

Amanda is an active pole instructor based in Norway. She started her pole jurney in august 2020, with previous dance experience among ballet, contemporary and jazz. Amanda participated in the Norwegian championship 2023 and won her category in artistic doubles competitive. At Aerial Movements, she creates training content and models for the online training program.

Barbora Zilinková, photagrapher

Barbora is a jazz & contemporary dance trainer based in Slovakia. She is also a judge in IDO (International Dance Organisation) for several dance disciplines. She has experience from teaching dance at different studios, as well in Norway as a pole and heels instructor. Barbora works as a freelance photagrapher and has provided Aerial Movements with beautiful images.
